The Bridgewater Innovation Center features a dedicated laboratory for advanced buffer, media, and solution preparation. These capabilities support the Center’s pilot-scale upstream and downstream operations for new product development and customer training.
The fully equipped buffer preparation lab enables Avantor to optimize single-use powder and liquid material preparation, accelerate scale-up of new products and processes, and automate production with single-use technologies.
The buffer prep team collaborates with the pilot scale upstream and downstream labs to make and deliver buffers for critical operations, including mammalian cell culture, fermentation, chromatography and fill-finish.
